500px – Photography Community App Reviews

Helps create an outlet to share photos and gain inspiration. My only qualm is with the rating system within the site as images between photographer are not well distributed and can be left undiscovered. All in all a nice little platform for your online portfolio and effective to gain feedback.

I use this app daily to review my portfolio, and to get inspiration from others work. The only reason it only gets 3 stars is because it constantly shuts down after 2 or 3 minutes of use. If the developers can get it to stay open, my review will jump to 5 stars.

I love this app, and I can find some very inspiring artwork on it, but it is a bit buggy. It constantly crashes and I have to reopen the app. If it wasnt for this Id give it 5 stars.

I am convinced the quality of photos on here are superlative!!

Like it says above, its great and if you enjoy a visual feast? You can go there hungry and youll leave satisfied. But be aware - they are not subtle regarding notifications, its a bit more like unconventional warfare than a friendly reminder. And I dont even allow notifications, so Im talking about email as well. If you notice them getting out of hand? Be firm with them right from the start and tell them to back-off. They respond better when given clear-cut directions.

great app, and a great way to connect with other photographers but this app glitches to almost a point of un-usability. Please fix the editing profile feature.

1. Stop bugging users for reviews. 2. When in full picture mode on ipad, swipe down for photo details 3. Give the user the option to turn off recommended photo in your main feed. Why you keep recommending squirrel photos is beyond me

500px app remains my favorite photo app and photo community. Uploading in all sizes and highest quality makes the app my portfolio platform. I use it when Im showcasing my photos to clients

I love the way it sets apart from all the other photography apps such as Instagram in 500px there nothing but the best images out there.

500 Pics is a great app. There are so many talented photographers sharing their excellent photos on here. I check it everyday to see what new photos are up. Im never disappointed in what I find

I enjoy seeing the work of others who share the love of photography. I find this app inspirational.

The website is amazing. The app seems to work great so far. 500px is the online community for people who know that being a photographer takes more than a smart phone and an app with silly, preset looks. Its also for wannabes like myself who want to build their skills and learn from the best photographers in the world. If you want to take a photo through a plastic lens and slap a quick sepia tone filter on it and call it art then go in peace. Thats your business. If you want to learn to create and share images that people cant stop looking at, get with the program.
